Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the application for Malaysia Halal Certification (submit new application and renewal).
- Responsible for managing the documentation and records regarding Halal (ingredient’s Halal certificate.
- Verify documents and activities related to Halal certification.
- Setting up Halal SOP and Halal manual and reviewing from time to time to ensure information is up to date.
- Key personnel in Halal Committee and its initiatives.
- Establish Halal Assurance Systems (HAS) and Internal Halal Committee (IHC).
- Lead in Halal internal and external audit.
- Identify training needs, organize and conduct training to meet Halal, quality and chemical safety standards.
- Keep abreast of current legislations, standards and guidance documents for Malaysia and exporting country.
- Monitor and drive appropriate actions and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
- Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives.
- Review, investigate and troubleshoot product concerns reported by retailers and customers.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as informed by superior/management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in any related field with Halal Executive Certification endorsed by JAKIM.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply, 1-2 years experience in related field is an advantage.
- Experienced in Halal Assurance System and involved in Halal Audit.
- Well versed in Halal process and documentation.
- Able to work under pressure and aggressive dateline.
- Excellent in both verbal and written communication skills.
- Good job management skill.
